Responsibilities

EA Markets is seeking qualified candidates for an immediate start in a VP/Director level role. The VP/Director will be an integral member of the direct placements team leading transaction execution and assisting in origination as the firm continues to expand its platform. This position will be responsible for the following:

  • Advise clients on strategic corporate finance issues
  • Act as lead investment banker on deal execution
  • Maintain client relationship and communication during deal process
  • Supervise, train, and mentor junior team members
  • Provide guidance, expertise and oversight for the development of financial models and information memoranda
  • Provide expertise on structuring and review of credit agreements and other legal documentation
  • Maintain client and investor relationships to expand the direct placements business
  • Provide leadership on transaction pipeline and assessment of new deal opportunities
  • Provide oversight of client pitch preparation
  • Manage and communicate effectively with both junior and senior bankers

Requirements

The ideal VP/Director will possess the following qualifications:

  • Currently a VP or Director with at least 5 – 7 years of investment banking / capital markets experience
  • At least 5 – 7 years of experience analyzing and advising on capital structure, executing capital markets transactions, reviewing credit agreements, advising on strategic corporate finance, developing financial models, and day-to-day transaction management
  • A passion for complex, multifaceted assignments across industries and products
  • Completed undergraduate or graduate studies in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or similar field of study
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Superior work ethic and ability to adapt quickly
