Investment Banking Associate position

EA Markets is seeking qualified candidates for a full-time Associate.  The Associate will be responsible for the following:

The Associate will be responsible for the following:

  • Creating dynamic financial models and performing scenario analysis
  • Conducting primary due diligence and industry research on potential transactions
  • Developing transaction memos to present to internal committees
  • Assisting in the creation of presentation and marketing materials for clients, prospects, and partners
  • Supervising analysts and acting as an intermediary between junior and senior bankers

Requirements

The ideal Associate will possess the following qualifications:

  • 2-3 years of investment banking experience (Leveraged Finance and Capital Markets) plus an additional 1-2 years of private or public debt experience from a leading firm
  • Exceptional financial modeling, accounting, and valuation skills as well as experience working with credit documents and leading due diligence processes
  • Should be a self-starter and team player with strong communication, organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage transaction execution and client support
  • Candidate must have the ability to construct concise, persuasive verbal and written transaction memorandums in a timely manner
  • Candidates should have a desire to develop and expand relationships within the investment community
  • Completed undergraduate or graduate studies in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a similar subject
  • Series 7 or 79 and Series 63 registrations
  • Previous experience in credit analysis, capital structure review and assessing financing alternatives
